Parent Tips for Week 3: Teaching Kids About Mountains and Seas in Islam

Nature is one of the best classrooms for children. When we take them to see mountains or the sea, we can connect those experiences to Islamic values.

1. Talk About Allah’s Power

Show your child how tall the mountain is or how wide the sea stretches. Remind them: “Allah made all of this to show us His greatness.”

2. Use Qur’an as a Guide

Share simple verses, like:

“And He has set firm mountains in the earth so that it would not shake with you.” (Surah An-Nahl: 15)

This helps kids see nature as a sign of Allah.

3. Encourage Dhikr

Teach them to say SubhanAllah when they see something amazing in nature. It builds the habit of remembering Allah in daily life.

4. Make It Interactive

After the trip, do a small craft about mountains and seas or ask fun quiz questions. Kids learn best when play is included.

Tip for Parents:

Turn every nature walk or beach visit into a chance to strengthen your child’s iman. 🌱
